Adding Thymeleaf Dialect extensions?

Enonic version: 6.1.1
OS: Ubuntu

While working with thymeleaf for Enonic XP we now have a need to add our own dialect extensions to Thymeleaf. How do I do that ? Is It Possible.

Why ? We see that we do some data changes in the controller say Date formatting that would be better to do in the view part.

We have no way of adding extensions right now, but it’s possible to create your own thymeleaf library based on the one we have.

Will think about how we could add extensions in the future.
