Last week at Enonic - 2017, week 42

Last Week

We shipped 6.12.1 on Friday!

Our CTO spoke at the O´Reilly conference in London. And yours truly attended the Webdagene conference (“web days”) with our event-guru Siw. And our CEO and Sales Manager attended the Digital 2017 event.

New position! We have another position available - Full stack JavaScript Developer. This person will work in our services department, assisting our partners and customers with Enonic XP. Please contact me over any channel, or apply via LinkedIn.

Enonic Releases

Further reading

Here’s some interesting articles that surfaced last week, related to Web Development in general.

Krack wifi bug - Last week, “Krack” surfaced and exposed a weakness in close to all wifi networks.

MDN to host them all - MDN, by Mozilla, will now join forces with Samsung, W3C, Google and Microsoft to host all web-related docs, not only Firefox’s.

PurpleJS - PurpleJS is an open source framework that lets JavaScript-developers “talk” to Java. Anyone familiar with Enonic XP knows how seamless this works. The framework gained a lot of popularity when released a year ago, and now we work to embed the framework at the core of Enonic XP while at the same time giving back to the framework with updates.

Send me a private message if you happen to stumble over something interesting this week.

Data Toolbox 2.1.3 - Contains many enhancements to the functionality of the app.

Notification Lib 1.2.0 - Added sendAsync function for sending notifications in the background.

Office League 1.5.0 - Introduces gravatar support, push notifications, and more.

GraphiQL 0.2.2 - Upgraded dependencies.

Guillotine - Headless CMS 0.1.5 - Fixed a bug with ImageSelector reference resolution.
