Last week at Enonic - 2018, week 23

Last Week

Last week we finally got our very own Form Builder app out on Market. This initial release contains loads of features and configuration. It handles multiple ways of storing the form data, it can send emails, it can post data to external services (3rd party), it can generate reports, and many other cool features. Using it fully might require developer assistance.

As summer (July) is drawing closer, we’re now entering feature freeze for 6.15 this week. This version will introduce you all to our brand new rich text editor, adding to a better experience for editors. Small but handy features like dragging images into the text field to automatically upload it, makes for less clicks and time saved. We’ll also update the UI a bit, with the fieldsets “Access” and “Settings” in the content form becoming icons instead of text buttons. On the tech-side, we’ll now have full support for distributed sessions for those running clusters of XP servers. And for developers, there’s a new and improved way of doing x-data mixins.

Stay in touch here in our forums and on our open Slack channels.
