Blurry image if in image part

Enonic version: 6.15.5
OS: Windows 10

Hi!
We recently noticed that high resolution pictures will get blurry if used in an image part. If we add an image in a text part, it looks ok.

It seems like if an image is used in an image part, Enonic will use a version of the picture that is only 760px wide, regardless of the original width. In a text part, it seems to be using the full width of the original picture.

Are we doing something wrong? If not, can this be fixed? :slight_smile:

Hi Vih!

The image component is somewhat of a “step child” - I recommend that you simply avoid using it and create your own image parts instead if it is not working as expected for you…
