For instance have a button which disables “unpublished” and “new” content in a publish tree, so that only children which are “modified” get published along with the parent. This way you don’t have to manually cancel out each item that you don’t want to include. We experienced this problem while updating the roles of the CMS.

We already have plans to improve the publishing wizard further, making it more flexibile in terms of de-selecting items.
