Handshake_failure when performing http requests

Hello everyone,

We recently had a few sites in Norwegian football (NTF) moving to Cloudflare. Ever since this happened we started having problems with such sites, with pages that had been running just fine for quite a long time.

Somehow, whenever we need to perform http requests to services (from inside controllers using Enonic’s httpLib as usual) we have the following error being issued:

javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Received fatal alert: handshake_failure

I’ve found a similar issue reported at HTTPS request using Sendega SMS

I don’t know if there’s anything that should be set in Java. Also, since we do not run the servers there’s not much we can do to test that.

Any thoughts on this?
