HtmlArea doesn’t allow inserting a link with the § symbol in the URL (https://google.com/§ for instance), saying it has “invalid value”. I also tested this in the latest 7.11 version of Enonic and the problem still persists. It was possible to insert these links, however, in older versions, such as 7.4.1. Note that this problem doesn’t happen when the symbol is in the query component of the address (Google works fine).
