Last week at Enonic - 2017, week 21

Last Week

It’s that time of week again. Let’s go!

Last week we had two releases, Enonic XP 6.10.3 and Enonic CMS 4.7.19. Read on to learn more about them.

The developers also began work on the User admin tool removing the REST architecture and upgrading it to use GraphQL instead. This is part of our dedication for GraphQL.

Our developers also began work on a very important feature last week - allowing the toolbox dump command to dump data with version history. This is very important for many clients, will help with upgrades, and lay the ground work for the future (but not yet planned) 7.0.

Our Progressive Web Apps (PWA) meetup hosted by Google just signed its final speaker. Aaron from Microsoft will give an interesting talk. There are - when I write this - still a few vacant slots if you’re interested.

One of our partners in the UK, Sharad Tech, launched another site on XP. This time for the comedian Sheraz Yousaf.

The all new issues functionality slated for a 6.11 release is progressing nice and steadily. It’s still work in progress, and a lot of minor things will change before release, but here’s two steamy fresh screenshots straight out of the XP oven. Bear in mind that they are work in progress and all details are not yet in place.

Enonic Releases

6.10.3 was released last week, it fixes four bugs, mainly related to the HtmlArea field. Check it out on Github or read the release notes. Please update!

4.7.19 was released last week, fixing issues with the database ´vacuum´ tool.
Please upgrade.

Next version of Enonic XP will be 6.11, read our sneak preview.

Enonic Market

Our Market grows, but actually last week it took a little pause. So stay tuned for next week.

If you find yourself trapped inside on a rainy day, take a look at Enonic’s ever evolving Office League PWA. It’s still in beta, but it works and plays really smooth, and there are a lot of interesting techs in there, like GraphQL, Angular2, and more!

The following meetups are planned so far, and quickly approaching:

After the summer we look to hold a few of our inhouse meetups:
