Last week at Enonic - 2017, week 47

Last Week

Enonic will be at the Central Gov Strategy Forum next week, will you?

Our popular training courses quickly fill up, this week we have one full XP Content session extra because of high demand. The Content training (for web editors and web marketers) have also been optimized and slimmed down with one hour! Scroll down to the training section to find your next course!

Our QA-department is setting up and testing Concourse build server.

We’re still looking for our next three co-workers in Oslo. Are you the one? Or do you know the one? Let us know!

Contact us here in the forums or on our open Slack channels if you have any questions about us or Enonic XP.

Enonic Releases

Latest stable release of XP is 6.12.2. Please upgrade any running 6.12 servers.

6.13 is planned to be released for Christmas. We’ll first see a beta, when that’s stable we’ll start with release candidates, then when everything is polished and shining we’ll go live. If all goes well, you’ll be spinning 6.13 while opening your presents. But as the road there is long we can’t make any promises.

Next XP will contain multiple improvements and minor bugfixes. We’ll see the all new Gallery mode for ImageSelectors, improved UX, collapsable form areas, and more!

Here’s some interesting articles that surfaced last week, related to Web Development in general.

Github team discussions - Github is a popular website/tool for many developers. Last week they introduced a team discussion feature, to let team have discussions in Github without sticking it to specific issues or commits.
