Last week at Enonic - 2019, week 11

Last Week

Work is progressing for the highly anticipated next major version of Enonic XP - 7.0. A lot of work is being done, not only do we change our build pipeline, introduce the Enonic CLI, creating new documentation, we’re also working hard to update all the training material we have. To update the training materials yours truly had to take the CLI for a first spin, and with just one short command in the Terminal I had installed the CLI, with two more commands it downloaded and started a new XP server for me - I didn’t even have to think about Java and JDK-versions, XP_HOME-variables or things we XP-developers do all the time. Are you excited!?

Later this week we’ll release beta 4 of 7.0 on our repo for those daring to walk the bleeding edge.

Psst! Know any Java-masters? Send them to our career-page.
