Last week at Enonic - 2019, week 3

Last Week

Our Developer meetup was held last week, with well over 50 attendees. TINE and Gjensidige showed off a lot of exciting developement they’ve been doing with Enonic XP. At the same time we managed to pull of a Content 101 training session.

Warning: technical text incoming …

Last week we took big leaps in the internal work on 7.0. We finally merged the code responsible for splitting the /status and /api end-points to separate ports (:2609 and :4848 respectively), making life easier for all devops out there. There’s also been work done so that Content Studio can be shipped as an app of its own from our Market. I’ve written earlier about the reasons for this, but it is basically so that we can fix minor bugs in Conent Studio and ship it without having to build an entire new version of XP core. So if you try 7.0-SNAPSHOT today you need to manually install 1.0.0-SNAPSHOT of Content Studio.

… end of technical text

Last week also saw a big update to our hottest app so far - the Siteimprove app. With release 1.1.0 we give you even more improvements. Some of the highlights are “Automatically trigger page check upon content publish”, and “Deep linking to Siteimprove dashboard from page statistics”.

Be sure to sign upfor our upcoming web editor meetup on the 7th of February. It is still taking form, but we know that TINE will be there and talk about how they use Enonic XP to manage 40-some brands!

Know any Java-masters out there? Send them to our career-page.
