Last Week
We came back from a trip the Lillehammer this weekend, company kickoff. We obviously talked a lot about 7.0, and had a lot of fun with non-work things too. The team from Minsk visited us the entire last week, and returns south-east today.
A lot of progress was made on 7.0 last week, with the brand new CLI taking form. You can as a developer use it to quickly get started with any XP-version, without having to worry about setting $XP_HOME
variables or having the correct JDK installed. With the CLI you can create new projects on the fly, as well as swap between exsisting projects, and they can even run different versions of XP (automatically downloading any dependencies for you). The CLI will fundamentally change how developers create Enonic apps! 7.0 is slated for a March-release.
Back in Oslo we’re preparing developer training this week, and the web editor meetup on Thursday - you don’t want to miss it.
Psst! Know any Java-masters? Send them to our career-page.
Enonic Releases
Our latest release is Enonic XP 6.15.5!
As always, we appreciate feature requests and bug reports here in the forum and/or on our Github page for XP.
Enonic Market
Enonic Market had these updates last week:
- Http Client Lib 1.0.6 - Upgraded incompatible dependencies.
