New Html editor - dragging images not working as expected

Enonic version: 6.15.5
OS: Windows 10 (also tested on Mac)

Was looking into the new Html editor presented in the release notes, and tried out how to drag images around inside text. We first dragged the image into the Html editor, but when we tried to drag the image around inside the editor afterwards nothing happened. I have tried it in Chrome v70 and Firefox v63. It has also been tried out on Mac in Chrome v66 and Safari v11.

Is this a bug, or are we doing something wrong?

Also, dragging images into the html editor in Edge v42 does not work. If I try this, the picture is placed in the html editor, but looks transparent, and is not uploaded. It can not be found in the browse view, nor in the preview.

Yes, it’s a bug. Two bugs, actually. We registered them in the system, so you can follow up if you want:
