Some weeks ago we launched a new open-source product called PurpleJS. This is the core engine from Enonic XP that is taken out and made available without the CMS part.
PurpleJS is basically a JavaScript application framework running on the Java Virtual Machine. Combining the power of Java and your existing investments with the simplicity of JavaScript. To simplify it - PurpleJS is an alternative to Node.js for Java projects.
