Decoupled schema deployment
For improved Front-end DevEx, schema can now be deployed without building a a traditional Enonic app (no Gradle). Manage and deploy Content Schemas from your preferred code base, including CI/CD.
New demo web
We are building a brand new demoweb, using our practices and latest tooling. It can be used by anyone to demonstrate, or evalueta Enonic. Front-end will be implemented using Next.js
Settings Admin tool
In the spirit of modern operating systems, we are replacing the current Users and Applications admin tools with a brand new Settings admin tool based on Enonic UI. It will be fully pluggable, allowing developers to provide their own settings extensions. The following extensions will be shipped by default:
- Applications - including improved visualization of available updates
- Users - Manage users across ID providers
- Groups - Manage groups across ID provider
- Roles
- Service Accounts - βSystemβ users are now treated as Service Accounts
- ID providers

Additional settings will be added in later versions of XP.
Workflow MK2
This is an improvement of Content Studioβs current publishing wizard and Issue system. It will provide the following improvements:
- New approach to Scheduled publishing - including handling of modified items
- Improved listing, filtering and labeling of issues
- Improved integration with publishing wizard and content checks
- Dedicated Issues menu widget
Agentic CMS
The next step of Enonics AI integration involve an extensible MCP API, which will be directly available for the Juke AI Chat as well as 3rd party agents.
Juke (and other MCP clients) may perform operations via an industry standard interface, and align with the existing pluggbility of Enonic XP - meaning other applications can extend the tools and capabilities for interacting with XP. Communication with the MCP server will build on XPβs standard IAM and authentication system for secure and pluggable communication.
Building on the new workflow features and MCP, it will be possible to assign issues to Juke to get stuff done.
Later alligator
New Content Studio search and navigation
For improved Editorial experience we will improve the main Content Studio navigation to provide a more intuitive search oriented interface for browsing and managing your content, providing the following main menu items
- All content
- Browse tree
- Favorites
- Recent items
Additionally, the Content Studio will support developer-defined views, allowing you to pre-define content search results and views for specific and common use-cases.
Blocks
Introducing a new content concept which can be used to create and manage content inline, or as individual content items. This concept brings the best from our current itemsets, optionsets and page components into a single intuitive solution.
Thatβs all folks! ![]()
