User roles not updating

Enonic version: 6.15.0
OS: Windows 10

When changing user roles in the User administartion interface, the changes do not take effect unless I restart the Enonic server. I have tested this on two different Enonic instances on different machines (the other is running on Windows Server 2016).

I also noticed that users with the Content Manager App role were unautherised to view the Content Studio, although I don’t know if this is related to this bug.

Hi Jas.

Did you try logging out/in? I believe the roles are read on login, but could be wrong on this.
Restarting is definetly not required.

In terms of accessing Conten Studio, user also needs “admin console” permissions to login to admin at all.
