Enonic CLI 3.4.0 has been released!

A few weeks ago a new version (v3.4.0) of Enonic CLI has been released (release notes).

The new version supports overriding default CLI home directory via an environment variable. A huge “thank you” goes out to Eirik Stanghelle Morland from our friends at Frontcom for contributing this improvement.

Mac/Homebrew users

In this release we have migrated from the old format (Taps) to the new format (Casks).

If you have installed CLI via Brew then, rather than upgrading, you’ll need to first uninstall the previous version:

brew uninstall enonic

then install the new one:

brew install enonic

This cask/version won’t run om my mac (iOS 26.2)

Apple kunne ikke fastslå om enonic er fri for skadevare som kan skade Macen eller true personvernet ditt.

Hi, Latest MacOS has become stricter. One solution is to install with the --no-quarantine flag:

brew install --no-quarantine <cask_name>
or brew reinstall --no-quarantine <cask_name>

Thanks! It’s deprecated, thou. So this will stop working eventually.

Warning: Calling the `–[no-]quarantine` switch is deprecated! There is no replacement.
