Enonic XP 7.16.0 has been released

Even though XP7 is sailing into the sunset, we want to ensure it is safe for everyone to use a little while longer. As Java 17 is sliding out of the support horizon for many of the suppliers, we have decided to upgrade XP7 to run on Java 21. This fixes some minor vulnerabilities and provides an updated set of supported certificates.

Along with the new version, we have also added a couple of new features and bug fixes, primarily the ability to set a message when archiving content. Please check out our change log: Release Enonic XP Distro 7.16.0 · enonic/xp-distro · GitHub

Hvordan er det med oppgradering fra 7.14 til 7.16 i cluster og rolling update? Dokumentasjon var ikke helt spesifik på hvilke versjon det støttes på: Upgrading - Enonic Developer Portal

We write in upgrade notes explicitly if rolling update is not supported. Currently we don’t know the issues which would require full cluster restart for rolling update from 7.15 to 7.16.

7.14 to 7.16 update we haven’t tested, but I assume, it would work just fine.
